The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently announced a recall of several batches of chocolate nonpareils from Weaver Nut Company, Inc. that were distributed across the United States. The recall includes six lots of semi-sweet chocolate containing "Christmas Seeds" colored nonpareils, as well as 15 lots of semi-sweet chocolate with white nonpareils, all of which potentially contain undeclared milk allergens, thus posing a serious risk to consumers with milk allergies or sensitivities.
As of now, there have been no reported illnesses related to these products, which were available in various retail and grocery stores nationwide. Weaver Nut Company, represented by spokesperson Angela Nolt, stated that they are working closely with the FDA and are committed to taking all necessary actions to ensure the safety of their products. The concern arose after a complaint from a wholesale client, which led to laboratory testing that confirmed the presence of milk in the affected batches.

People need to take responsibility for their allergies instead of expecting the FDA to babysit them!

If you can’t read labels, maybe you shouldn’t be eating this kind of stuff in the first place!
