On Thursday, a spokesperson for the China Coast Guard accused the Philippines of unlawfully intruding into waters surrounding the Nansha Islands between June 15 and 18. Liu Dejun claims that Chinese forces managed the situation in a professional manner in line with legal standards, emphasizing China's "indisputable sovereignty" over the region, which includes Banyue Reef and Jianzhang Reef.
Liu criticized Philippine vessels for what he described as unlawful actions disguised as "fishing protection," arguing that these activities are destabilizing the South China Sea. He issued a stern warning to the Philippines, asserting that any attempts to infringe upon Chinese waters would ultimately be ineffective. Liu reiterated that the China Coast Guard would maintain regular patrols in areas within Chinese jurisdiction to firmly uphold territorial sovereignty and maritime rights.

China would have no problem if other nations respected their maritime rights—it's time for a real dialogue!

What a joke! China's definition of 'professional' is just their way of justifying aggressive behavior.

The Philippines has every right to protect its waters; this is just China trying to bully its neighbors.
