Former President Donald Trump has fully endorsed Representative Abe Hamadeh of Arizona for re-election. This endorsement came less than six months into Hamadeh's first term in the House of Representatives. Trump expressed his support on Truth Social, describing Hamadeh as an "America First Patriot."
Trump's initial endorsement of Hamadeh occurred in December 2023, prior to the 2024 GOP primary in Arizona's 8th Congressional District. However, Trump later issued a dual endorsement, supporting both Hamadeh and another Republican candidate, Blake Masters, before Hamadeh ultimately won the primary.
In February, Hamadeh introduced a resolution aimed at limiting the types of flags displayed in House facilities. The resolution would permit the display of the American flag and other flags, including state flags representing a member's district and flags of visiting foreign dignitaries.
Hamadeh stated that the resolution was intended to ensure Congress represents the American people and criticized the need to introduce such a measure. The resolution has six other House Republicans listed as cosponsors.
On June 14, Hamadeh wrote a letter to Trump, coinciding with the president's birthday and the Army's anniversary, expressing gratitude for inspiring young people to serve the country.

Flag regulations? Real groundbreaking action there. This is what passes for 'America First' now?

So Hamadeh just wants to limit flags... how terribly important. Is this all they've got?

Honestly, a letter to Trump for his birthday? Is this public service or groveling?

He's still trying to gain power with his endorsements, don't let this be fooled.
