Israel and Iran Exchange Attacks, Raising Tensions

Overnight into Sunday, Israel and Iran engaged in renewed attacks against each other. This escalation occurred amidst statements from U.S. President Donald Trump, who suggested a swift resolution to the conflict while cautioning Tehran against targeting U.S. interests.

In the aftermath of the strikes, Israeli rescue teams worked to locate survivors. They searched through the debris of destroyed residential buildings, employing flashlights and sniffer dogs. Authorities reported at least ten fatalities, including children.

The Israeli military issued a warning to Iranians residing near weapons facilities, urging them to evacuate. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the current Israeli actions were only a prelude to more significant measures Iran would experience in the near future.
