With a growing number of foreign workers in Kyoto, communication challenges are significant. At Kobayashi Seisakusho, many employees are from Vietnam or Thailand. They use the system to translate instructions and messages in real-time, facilitating smooth communication.
The company, founded in 1955, employs 110 people, with 60 being Vietnamese or Thai. Language differences previously caused errors and delays.
The company implemented the "Kaminashi Jugyoin" translation system, which supports about 20 languages. This allows employees to communicate in their native languages, improving the workplace atmosphere and employee skills.
Employees now communicate more actively. The system has boosted productivity and sales. Kobayashi Seisakusho's approach could be a model for other businesses employing foreign workers.
