The winning numbers for the largest lottery prize ever offered in the UK have been announced. The jackpot for the draw held on June 13th was estimated at £208 million. If a single ticket-holder won, it would become the biggest prize ever awarded in the UK lottery history.
The winning numbers drawn were 02, 28, 40, 43, and 45, with the Lucky Stars being 03 and 07. To win the jackpot, players needed to correctly select all seven numbers.
The EuroMillions jackpot is capped once it reaches 250 million euros, which is equivalent to £208 million. If no one wins the jackpot after it reaches its cap, the prize money remains at that value for four more draws. The jackpot must be won in the fifth draw. This "Must Be Won" draw will take place on June 20th.
In the "Must Be Won" draw, if no ticket matches all seven numbers, the entire jackpot prize will be distributed to the prize tier with at least one winner. This is likely to be the tier for matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star.
