A pregnant woman was hospitalized following a physical altercation at a kindergarten graduation ceremony. The incident occurred at Mastery John Wister Elementary in Philadelphia.
The victim, a 31-year-old woman, was reportedly struck in the head and pushed against a wall during the fight. The altercation began due to a disagreement over seating arrangements. Police were called to the scene in East Germantown shortly after 10:15 a.m. on Monday.
The suspect, a female parent, fled the scene and remains at large. Witnesses described the suspect as wearing a grey hoodie and black pants. The pregnant victim was observed bleeding before being transported to the hospital. Her current condition has not been released.
The school principal stated that no other parents were involved in the incident and that no weapons were used. In a statement to parents, the principal, Erica Smith, confirmed the altercation between two parents during the ceremony. She clarified that the only injuries were sustained by the two parents involved. She also addressed an unrelated carjacking that occurred in the neighborhood, emphasizing that it did not involve anyone from the school community and that the suspect was apprehended.
The investigation into the fight is ongoing.

Witnesses should do more to help law enforcement find this woman. She doesn't deserve to get away with this.
