On Sunday night, a shooting on the Las Vegas Strip resulted in the deaths of two individuals. Authorities have described the event as an isolated incident, causing widespread panic among those present.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that the gunfire erupted around 10:40 p.m. local time on the 3600 block of Las Vegas Boulevard. Social media posts indicate the shooting occurred outside the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, though police emphasized that the incident did not take place within the casino itself.
Currently, the identities of the suspect and the victims remain undisclosed. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
Police officers patrolling the area responded immediately to the sound of gunfire, discovering two victims on the sidewalk with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities believe they have identified the suspect, and preliminary investigations suggest a prior conflict between the suspect and the victims, possibly involving social media platforms. A video captured by a YouTuber during a livestream appeared to show the shooting, depicting a man firing multiple shots.
