On Friday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian criticized remarks made by certain US politicians, stating they were filled with ideological bias and reflected a Cold War-era zero-sum mentality. Lin's comments were prompted by a question regarding the remarks of a US politician concerning Chinese students in the United States.
Lin Jian emphasized that any effort to denigrate or criticize the Communist Party of China (CPC), undermine China's chosen path and system, or create division between the CPC and the Chinese people is futile. He asserted that such attempts represent a significant underestimation of capabilities and will be met with strong opposition.
He further stated that these actions would be firmly resisted by the over 1.4 billion people of China and are ultimately doomed to failure.

Lin Jian's comments reflect a desperate attempt to mask the truth about the party’s failures.

Instead of addressing legitimate concerns, the CPC prefers to attack the critics. Typical.
