One man is in critical condition, while the other has sustained injuries that could be life-altering. Both patients were transported to Salford Royal Hospital by air ambulance. The police confirmed that emergency services were responding to the plane crash, and that two men had been taken to the hospital. Authorities requested that the public avoid the area while investigations were underway.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue sent three fire engines and the technical response unit to the scene. The fire service reported that firefighters arrived quickly and assisted the police, North West Ambulance Service, and the airport fire service in securing the area and helping the two casualties. Two men injured and yet we still allow these types of aircraft to fly? It makes no sense!
