Prince Louis Celebrates Seventh Birthday with New Portrait and Playful Video

On Wednesday, James Middleton, the brother of Princess Kate, shared a touching gesture to celebrate his nephew, Prince Louis's seventh birthday. The young prince, the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, had his special day marked with care by the Royal family.

Shortly after sharing a new portrait of Prince Louis in Norfolk, Kensington Palace released a new video on social media. The video offered a glimpse into the photoshoot created to commemorate the occasion. It showed Louis posing in the sunshine, running towards the camera, and demonstrating his adventurous spirit by jumping off a log.

The video, captioned with a simple "Seven today!", was created by Kensington Palace's social media team. It featured gentle music and was styled like a home movie, similar to the approach used in Kate's video announcing the end of her chemotherapy treatment. Royal fans, including Louis's uncle, expressed their delight by liking the post. Earlier in the day, the Prince and Princess of Wales also shared a photo from the photoshoot, accompanied by a birthday message and a cake emoji.

The shared photo showed Louis sitting on a tree trunk, smiling and displaying a gap where he had lost his front teeth. Known for his playful behavior, Prince Louis is fourth in line to the throne and a grandson of the King. He was born on St George's Day, April 23, 2018, at St Mary's Hospital in London.
