In a recent campaign stop in Edmonton, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh claimed that the contributions of his party's two Alberta MPs outshine those of more than thirty Conservative MPs from the same province during the last parliamentary session. Emphasizing the NDP's commitment to taking action, Singh encouraged voters to support his party, contrasting their proactive approach with what he characterized as mere noise from the Conservative side.
Singh highlighted the NDP's effectiveness in encouraging the minority Liberal government to make significant advancements in areas such as dental care, pharmacare, and worker protections as a result of his party's backing in the House of Commons. As Canadians prepare to vote in the general election scheduled for April 28, he noted that the NDP previously held 24 seats in Parliament but that recent polls suggested a decline in public support for the party.
Citing concerns many Canadians have regarding rising costs for groceries and rent, Singh stressed that neither Mark Carney's Liberals nor Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives would advocate for necessary price caps on essential goods. He made a case for the NDP's role as a defender of public services, urging voters not to grant too much power to Carney and to ensure New Democrats are present to represent the interests of Canadians.

Finally, a leader who's fighting for dental care and pharmacare! The NDP is making a real difference for working families.

Price caps are a great idea! The NDP understands the struggles of everyday Canadians. They're looking out for us!

Two impactful MPs can be more effective than 30 who just follow party lines. Singh knows this, and this is why I support him!

Singh's point hits the nail on the head. The NDP offers something fresh and effective when compared to other parties!

The NDP is the only party truly dedicated to public services. They're the only ones willing to protect what we all rely on!

Two MPs are hardly an impactful presence when compared to 30 others, and claiming that they are more impactful seems like a stretch.

Singh's right! NDP is a junior, but very important party of Parliament. I hope Singh can make more achievements!

Comparing two MPs to 30 is ridiculous. A few loud voices don't equal a whole lot of work being done.

Empty promises. He's desperately trying to stay relevant. Polls don't lie - the NDP is fading in Alberta.
