Mass Migration

Immigration, International Tensions, and Domestic Developments

Video footage from Friday night captured Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) buses, filled with Venezuelan migrants, en route to an airport in north Texas. However, the buses abruptly turned around before reaching their destination, amidst an ongoing legal dispute concerning their deportation.

At least 28 individuals, believed to be primarily Venezuelan nationals, were placed on buses at ICE's Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, Texas, on Friday evening. The buses were initially headed towards Abilene Airport, approximately 30 miles away. The video, obtained by NBC News, showed the ICE motorcade, including numerous law enforcement vehicles with flashing lights, passing the airport exit before turning back to the detention facility.

ICE should be held accountable for their cruel actions. Deporting vulnerable families is barbaric.
