The search for Paria Veisi, who went missing after leaving work on April 12th, has concluded with the discovery of her body. Ms. Veisi, a resident of Cathays, Cardiff, was last seen at 3 pm on April 12th, driving away from her workplace in a black Mercedes GLC 200.
Following a police investigation, a man and a woman have been charged in connection with the case. The pair appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court and have been remanded in custody. Ms. Veisi's body was found at a property in the Penylan area of the city. Her car was later located on Dorchester Avenue in Penylan, approximately five miles from where she was last seen.
A 41-year-old man from Cardiff has been charged with murder, preventing a lawful and decent burial of a dead body, and assaulting a person causing actual bodily harm. The woman, a 48-year-old from White City Estate, London, has been charged with preventing a lawful and decent burial of a dead body and conspiring to pervert the course of justice.
Detective Chief Inspector Matt Powell, the Senior Investigating Officer, expressed his condolences, stating that the developments would deeply sadden and shock Ms. Veisi's family, friends, and the local community. Police investigations will continue in the Penylan area over the next week. The charged individuals are scheduled to appear at Cardiff Crown Court on April 22nd.

This is devastating news, but how can we trust the police to handle these investigations properly? They seem to always drop the ball.

When will we start addressing the root causes of violence rather than just dealing with the aftermath?

Why did it take so long for the police to find her body? There have to be improvements made in investigative procedures.
