During the recent winter vacation, she participated in numerous youth tournaments, achieving finals in nine out of twelve contests and securing six championships along with three runner-up awards against older opponents. Her achievements have fostered resilience and self-confidence, key traits she attributes to her involvement in the sport.

Chai admires prominent Chinese tennis players and devotes time to studying their games, hoping to incorporate their strengths into her play.
