George Russell Confirms Ongoing Contract Talks with Mercedes

George Russell, currently ranked fourth in the Formula One standings after a strong start to the season, has shared that discussions about renewing his contract with Mercedes are continuously taking place. Russell mentioned that his conversations with Toto Wolff, the team boss, happen almost daily and clarified that it is not uncommon for contract discussions to take time. He emphasized his confidence in his abilities, stating that his performance is what ultimately matters.
