An Israeli airstrike hit a Gaza field hospital, killing a medic and wounding others. This was the second attack on a Gaza health facility in days. Israel's attacks have continued for a month since ending a ceasefire with Hamas.
Hamas is considering a new Israeli proposal for a 45-day halt in fighting in exchange for hostages, but insists on an end to the war and withdrawal of Israeli forces. Israel has not confirmed the offer.
Hundreds of thousands sought shelter near the hospital. The IDF has previously bombed hospitals, accusing Hamas of using them for military purposes, which Hamas denies.
On Sunday, Israel struck Al-Ahli Hospital after ordering an evacuation. The U.N. said the hospital is out of service and called for protection of healthcare facilities and a ceasefire.
Israel's offensive has killed over 51,000 people, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. The war began with a Hamas attack on Israel, which killed around 1,200 people and led to hostages being taken.

Israel’s actions are clearly disproportionate, and the world needs to hold them accountable.

Supporting peace means acknowledging that Hamas cannot be trusted to uphold any agreement.

How can anyone justify targeting hospitals? This is a violation of international law!

Media outlets should focus more on the brutality of Hamas and its tactics, not just casualties.

This constant portrayal of Israel as the aggressor overlooks the context of Hamas' attacks.

The situation in the region is complex, but painting Israel as the villain is misleading.

Why should Israel stop its operations when they are fighting against a terrorist organization like Hamas?
