Father of Accused Teen Defends Son Amidst Tragic Stabbing Incident

The father of a Texas teenager, Karmelo Anthony, who has been charged with the stabbing death of a rival football player named Austin Metcalf, is speaking out in defense of his son. Andrew Anthony described Karmelo as a "good kid," emphasizing that he did not instigate the altercation that led to the tragic incident at a high school track event. According to police, the confrontation arose after Metcalf, 17, informed Karmelo that he was in the wrong seat, resulting in a fight that ended with Karmelo allegedly using a knife to stab Metcalf while his twin brother was nearby.
