The China Coast Guard (CCG) reported that it had authorized and overseen a Philippine resupply mission on Wednesday. The mission was directed towards a warship that had been deliberately grounded at Ren'ai Reef in the South China Sea.
According to CCG spokesman Liu Dejun, the Philippines was permitted to send a civilian vessel to deliver supplies to the grounded boat. The Chinese side granted this permission.
During the resupply operation, the CCG conducted inquiries, verification, and provided full supervision of the Philippine vessel.
China has called upon the Philippines to uphold its commitments and collaborate to manage the maritime situation.
The CCG also stated its intention to continue lawful rights-protection and enforcement activities in the Nansha Islands, including Ren'ai Reef and the surrounding waters.

It’s outrageous that China believes they can dictate what the Philippines can or cannot do in its own territorial waters!

The Philippines must not allow China to dictate their maritime operations. Stand up for your sovereignty!

The Philippines may think it's cooperating, but this is a dangerous game that could lead to more aggression from China.

This just plays into China's narrative of being the 'guardian' of the South China Sea while they continue to impose their will.
