Japan Post Employee Arrested for Mailing Semen-Filled Condom, Disrupting Operations
On Thursday, the Osaka Prefectural Police apprehended a Japan Post employee. The arrest was made on suspicion of forcibly obstructing business operations. The alleged offense involved the mailing of a condom containing semen to a post office.
The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Yasuhiro Nakajima, a resident of Fushimi Ward in Kyoto, reportedly confessed to the accusations. He stated that he sent the package to fulfill his sexual desires, although he denied intending to disrupt the post office's operations.
The charges stem from an incident in mid-December of the previous year. Nakajima is accused of sending an envelope containing a used condom and other unspecified items to a post office located in Osaka Prefecture. This action is believed to have disrupted the normal functioning of the post office. The investigation led to his identification after the post office reported the incident to the police. Authorities utilized DNA testing and handwriting analysis on the envelope to confirm his involvement.
Police investigations revealed that the envelope was addressed to a female employee working at the targeted post office branch. During a search of Nakajima's residence, authorities discovered two additional envelopes containing condoms. Furthermore, they have confirmed the occurrence of over a dozen similar incidents at various post offices throughout the prefecture.
