In a separate development, two Labour MPs from the United Kingdom were denied entry to Israel and subsequently deported. This action has been described as "deeply concerning" by the UK's foreign secretary.

Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed were turned away at the Israeli border, accused of intending to spread "anti-Israel hatred." The MPs had traveled from Luton airport on Saturday afternoon.

The UK's Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, criticized the Israeli decision as "unacceptable." He stated that it was "no way to treat British parliamentarians."
