Marcy Rheintgen, a 20-year-old male student, was reportedly the first person arrested under Florida’s bathroom law. The arrest occurred after Rheintgen entered the women’s restroom at the state Capitol in protest.
Before being handcuffed, Rheintgen stated to police, "I am here to break the law."
Rheintgen is facing a misdemeanor trespassing charge. The charge is punishable by up to 60 days in jail. A court appearance is scheduled for May.
A software engineer was reportedly paid to do light modifications on a website. The work required about 10 hours per week. The engineer was paid $380,000 a month.
UFC legend Henry Cejudo intervened to help his neighbor. A group of teens crashed their car into the neighbor's home and attempted to flee. Cejudo apprehended the individuals.
Cejudo described the incident, stating that the teens tried to exit the car. He told them they were not going anywhere. The homeowner attempted to stop them, and Cejudo intervened after the homeowner was punched.
