Trump Orders Smithsonian Museums to Remove "Improper Ideology"
In a move that has sparked controversy, President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday, March 27th, targeting the Smithsonian Museums and the National Zoo. The order aims to remove what the President deems "improper ideology" from these institutions, expanding his conservative clampdown on cultural institutions.
Trump, who has consistently criticized what he calls "woke" culture, accused the Smithsonian of attempting to rewrite American history on issues of race and gender. He has appointed hardline Vice President JD Vance to oversee the implementation of this order across the Smithsonian's museums, educational programs, and research centers.
The order specifically calls for the removal of "improper ideology" from these properties. The Smithsonian operates 21 internationally renowned museums and galleries, primarily located in and around Washington, D.C. These institutions cover a wide range of topics, including art, science, space, and American history. The National Zoo, which recently welcomed two giant pandas from China, also falls under the Smithsonian's umbrella.
The presidential order, titled "Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History," cites several examples of what it deems "corrosive ideology." One example is the National Museum of African American History and Culture, which the order claims has described hard work and the nuclear family as "aspects of 'White Culture.'" Additionally, Trump criticizes a plan by the yet-to-be-opened American Women's History Museum to "celebrate the exploits of male athletes participating in women's sports."
The Smithsonian has not yet issued a public response to the executive order.

Trump's definition of 'improper ideology' is simply common sense. It's about promoting patriotism and unity, not division and hatred.
The Truth
It's ridiculous that the National Museum of African American History and Culture ignores the contributions of white Americans. Trump is right to demand fairness.
Answer
I'm glad Trump is taking action against the indoctrination of our children. Museums should be places of learning, not political activism.
The Truth
This is a victory for truth and justice. We must continue to fight against the forces that seek to distort our history and divide our nation.

It's time for the Smithsonian to stop being a mouthpiece for the far left. This order will help it regain its credibility.
