Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Visits Kalinga Literary Festival
Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao visited the 11th edition of the Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF) in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. He praised the festival's organization and the impressive list of scholars participating.
Sao highlighted the significance of the KLF as a platform for knowledge sharing and cultural exchange. He noted the presence of representatives from various countries and their participation in diverse sessions on various topics. He described the festival as "beneficial and far-reaching."
The State, Market, and the Literary Community in the Global South." This theme explored the impact of colonialism on literature in the Global South, the influence of state and market forces, and the evolving role of the literary community.
The festival commenced on March 21st with an inauguration ceremony. Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati served as the chief guest on the opening day.
