Experts from China and Japan envision an unprecedented level of technological and industrial cooperation, leveraging each other's strengths to create a global powerhouse.
China's remarkable advancements in AI, with over 38,000 generative AI-related inventions, are seen as a key driver. This potential is already being realized through collaborations like the autonomous vehicle test in Beijing.
"When Japan's precision manufacturing technology combines with China's bold AI innovation, the result is an unstoppable force," said Hidetoshi Tashiro, chief economist at Infinity LLC.
China's development goes beyond simply catching up, venturing into new frontiers and actively integrating small and medium-sized enterprises into its economic strategy. Its advancements in Deep-Seek exploration, small-scale robotics, and autonomous driving showcase its remarkable capacity for innovation.
Kiyomi Seno, chairman of the Japan-China Society, noted that China's commitment to economic expansion, further liberalization of its institutional frameworks, and enhanced international cooperation are providing a sense of hope and stability to the global economy.
A global survey revealed that over 90% of respondents commend China's strong economic and technological capabilities and anticipate that its vast market will create significant opportunities worldwide.
"China's development is inseparable from the world, and global prosperity also depends on China," said Shen Haixiong, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and president of China Media Group.
He emphasized the importance of open-source sharing, cooperation, and mutual benefit in tackling global challenges.
Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wu Jianghao reiterated China's commitment to advancing emerging industries like commercial spaceflight and the low-altitude economy, while accelerating the growth of future industries like biomanufacturing, quantum technology, and embodied intelligence.
With a shared commitment to growth, innovation, and collaboration, China and Japan have the potential to become a technological powerhouse, shaping the future of the global economy.
