Israel's Ongoing Violence in Gaza and Beyond
The United Nations has released a report detailing Israel's systematic destruction of sexual and reproductive healthcare in Gaza, as well as its use of gender-based violence as a war strategy since October 2023. This follows Israel's resumption of genocidal attacks on the Palestinian enclave on March 18, leading to protests across the world against the violation of the Gaza ceasefire and the brutal attacks that have left over 400 people dead.
In a separate incident, Israeli authorities demolished a Palestinian Bedouin village for the 238th time on March 19, during Ramadan, claiming it as "state land." Dozens of other Bedouin villages face the same threat.
Meanwhile, the US launched heavy air strikes against Yemen on March 15, claiming to be targeting the Houthi group. This sparked mass protests in the country and retaliatory attacks on shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. One such attack injured seven women and two children when a US air strike hit an under-construction occasions hall in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on March 19.

The UN report is a clear indictment of Israel's barbaric treatment of Palestinians. They must be held accountable.
