Questions Remain
Documents related to Prince Harry's immigration record were released on Tuesday, offering some insight into how the British royal was allowed to move to the U.S. However, the documents were heavily redacted, leaving many questions unanswered.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released court declarations from agents involved in Harry's immigration case. Additionally, a transcript of a closed-door hearing in a lawsuit filed by the Heritage Foundation was also released.
The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, believes that Harry may have lied on his visa application. They argue that he failed to disclose his history of drug use, which could have impacted his eligibility for a visa.
The foundation's lawyer, Samuel Dewey, points to several clues in the released documents that suggest Harry may have been dishonest. For example, the documents mention the State Department, which typically handles visa applications for people with exceptional talent or ability. Dewey believes that if Harry had been honest about his drug use, the information would have been included in his visa application file.
However, the documents also show that some information related to Harry's case is still being withheld by the State Department and DHS. Judge Carl Nichols, who is overseeing the lawsuit, acknowledged this during a hearing in April 2024.
The Heritage Foundation initially filed a Freedom of Information Act request for Harry's immigration records in 2023. They argue that the public has a right to know whether Harry received special treatment when he was allowed to move to the U.S. in 2020.
The foundation's executive director, Mike Howell, believes that Harry should be deported if it is found that he lied on his visa application. He also criticizes the Justice Department for defending Harry and wasting public resources.
The release of these documents has raised more questions than answers about Prince Harry's immigration status. It remains to be seen whether the full truth will ever be revealed.

The longer they withhold information, the more convinced I am this whole thing is corrupt.

Attacking Harry without proof is wrong. Don't judge him based on assumptions and media speculation.

All these attacks are fueled by jealousy and political agendas. Harry deserves privacy.

Of course there's information missing! This whole immigration process seems shady to me. More evidence Harry was treated as royalty, not an immigrant.

Stop protecting him! Harry needs to face consequences for his actions, just like everyone else.

Typical government protecting one of their own. Harry clearly lied, he needs to be held accountable!

What are they afraid of showing us? This only increases suspicion about Harry's true intentions.

He's already gone through enough scrutiny. Give the guy a break and let him live in peace.

Instead of negativity, focus on the good he's doing. He's raising awareness on important issues.

How convenient that this hearing took place after the election. Smells of political manipulation.

How can anyone trust a government that hides so much? This is an insult to every honest immigrant.
