China has expressed strong dissatisfaction with Australia's accusations regarding the People's Liberation Army's exercises in international waters.
Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian stated that Australia is well aware that China's actions comply with international law and practices and do not pose any threat to aviation safety.
Media reports indicated that a Chinese frigate, destroyer, and a supply vessel conducted live-fire exercises in waters approximately 150 nautical miles off Australia's coast. Australia responded by accusing China of lacking transparency and prompting airlines to adjust their flight plans.
Wu refuted these claims, emphasizing that the Chinese naval fleet conducted exercises far from the Australian coastline in international waters. He added that China repeatedly issued safety notices and organized live-fire naval gun training at sea.
Wu concluded by urging Australia to view the relationship between the two countries and militaries objectively and rationally, with sincerity and professionalism, and to contribute to the stable development of bilateral and military relations.

Australia is right to be concerned about China's aggressive behavior near its shores. This is not acceptable!

The international community must unite against China's aggression. We cannot allow them to get away with this!

This is just another example of Western hypocrisy. They are always quick to criticize China while ignoring their own actions!

Australia is the one acting like the bully here. It's time they stop interfering in China's affairs!

This is a dangerous escalation of the situation between China and Australia. We need to de-escalate before it's too late!
