The anti-immigration party led by Nigel Farage, Reform U.K., has been plunged into its biggest crisis since its success in last year's general election. The party has referred one of its lawmakers, Rupert Lowe, to the police for allegedly threatening a senior colleague, Reform's chairman, Zia Yusuf.
The party also said that it was investigating complaints that Mr. Lowe had bullied female staff members, and that it had suspended him. In a statement posted on social media, Mr. Lowe, 67, denied the allegations, adding that it was "no surprise" that "vexatious" claims had been lodged after he recently made critical comments about Mr. Farage and the party's structures.
In recent months, Reform U.K. has surged in opinion polls, overtaking the main opposition Conservative Party and closing in on the governing Labour Party, which is led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

This is shocking! How can a party that claims to uphold traditional values allow such behaviour?

I am disgusted by the allegations against Rupert Lowe. If true, he should be expelled from the party immediately.

I believe in the party's principles and I am confident they will overcome this challenge.

Nigel Farage is doing the right thing by cleaning up the party.

Finally, someone is holding Rupert Lowe accountable for his abusive behaviour.

This is just another example of the Conservative Party's hypocrisy. They claim to be tough on crime but look the other way when it's one of their own.
