Amouranth Targeted in Armed Home Invasion
Amouranth, a popular online streamer and OnlyFans personality, was the target of an armed home invasion in Houston, Texas, over the weekend. The assailants, reportedly armed with handguns, broke into her home, pistol-whipped her, and demanded access to her cryptocurrency accounts.
The Houston Police Department confirmed the incident and stated that no arrests have been made as of yet. The investigation is ongoing.
Last November, Amouranth, whose real name is Kaitlyn Siragusa, posted a screenshot of her apparent crypto holdings on social media, revealing a balance of over $20 million in Bitcoin. This may have made her a target for the attackers.
On Sunday night, Siragusa posted a series of messages on social media, claiming she was being robbed at gunpoint. She stated that the gunmen shot at her bedroom door before kicking it in and demanding access to her crypto accounts. Fearing for her life, she took to social media instead of calling 911.
Doorbell camera footage captured three individuals entering Siragusa's home and fleeing shortly after. Audio of what sounded like gunshots was also recorded. Siragusa's husband reportedly shot at the intruders, hitting one of them.
Siragusa sustained injuries during the attack, including a pistol whipping and head trauma. She posted photos of herself covered in blood, stating that some of it belonged to the attackers.
The alleged robbers ultimately left empty-handed. Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to their arrest.
This incident highlights the growing trend of armed robbery attempts targeting individuals with significant cryptocurrency holdings. In 2023, a North Carolina man was robbed at gunpoint by individuals demanding access to his cryptocurrency account.
In 2021, Siragusa's home was also targeted in a suspected arson attack. The recent home invasion adds to the list of concerning incidents she has faced.

I can't sympathize with influencers flaunting their wealth. What did she expect?

Absolutely heartbreaking. Everyone deserves safety and respect regardless of online presence.

Much respect for her courage and hoping justice comes swiftly for her attackers.

Why is this even news? People deal with break-ins every day without making it about themselves.

No tears here. You reap what you sow when you flash your wealth publicly.

Maybe influencers will finally learn the meaning of privacy after this.
