Trump insisted that Zelenskyy must make a deal or face severe consequences, stating, "You're either going to make a deal or we're out, and if we're out, you'll fight it out."

Following the explosive exchange, Trump released a statement on his TruthSocial platform, saying that Zelenskyy was "not ready for peace" as long as the US was involved.
