Urgent Recall Issued for Nestlé Frosted Shreddies and Nestlé Box Bowl Mixed Cereals

Nestlé has issued an urgent recall for two of its popular children's cereals, Frosted Shreddies and Nestlé Box Bowl Mixed Cereals, due to a potential choking hazard. The recall affects 500g packs of Frosted Shreddies with batch codes 42870952, 42880952, 42890952, and 42900952 expiring in July. It also affects 40g boxes of Nestlé Box Bowl Mixed Cereals with batch codes 42913451, 42923451, 42933451, 43173451, 43183451, 43193451, 43203451, and 43233451 expiring in June and July.

The recall was issued after Nestlé discovered that lumps of sugar had formed in the cereal packets, making the malt squares unsafe to eat and presenting a choking hazard. The company has apologized to customers and assured them that no other batches of Frosted Shreddies or any other Nestlé cereals are affected.

Customers who have purchased the affected products are urged not to eat them and to return them to the store where they were bought for a full refund. Alternatively, they can contact Nestlé directly.

Cheshire Farm Recalls Caramelized Biscuit and Biscoff Ice Creams

In a separate incident, Cheshire Farm has recalled batches of its Caramelized Biscuit Ice Cream and Biscoff Ice Cream because they contain hazelnuts, which are not listed on the ingredients label. This poses a potential health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts.
