Tulsi Gabbard, the U.S. director of national intelligence, has fired over 100 spies from 15 different agencies after sexually explicit chats were discovered on an official government instant messaging forum.
The messages, which were first reported by conservative journalist Christopher Rufo, included discussions about fetishes, artificial genitalia, group sex, and other sexually explicit topics. The chats took place in DEI-focused groups on the NSA's Interlink Messenger, titled "LBTQA" and "IC_Pride_TWG."
Gabbard said that the behavior was "unacceptable" and that those involved "WILL be held accountable." She also said that the chat groups were "immediately shut down" and that intelligence agencies have been asked to unmask the guilty employees.
President Donald Trump and Elon Musk have both praised Gabbard's actions. Trump said that Gabbard was "cleaning house" and that the spies involved in the chats were "disgusting." Musk said that "at least we know what they did last week.
