Sean Williams Sentenced to 95 Years for Child Sex Abuse and Escape
Sean Williams, accused of drugging and assaulting women, received a 95-year sentence for producing child sex abuse images and escaping custody.
Williams, already imprisoned, possessed razor blades during court transport and mocked the charges. He faces additional lawsuits from women alleging sexual assault and police corruption.
In 2023, Williams was found with child sex abuse images, drugs, and evidence of assaults on unconscious women. He escaped custody but was later apprehended.
He was convicted of the escape and child sex abuse charges, including images of a 9-month-old, 4-year-old, and 7-year-old. Prosecutors say he also raped the children's mothers.
Williams faces further charges in Tennessee and North Carolina. Two lawsuits against Johnson City police regarding their handling of sexual assault reports against Williams are pending.
"Sean Williams is a dangerous sexual predator," said U.S. Attorney Francis M. Hamilton III. "This sentence ensures he is held accountable and prevented from harming others.
