A Republican-hosted legislative town hall meeting in northern Idaho turned chaotic when a woman was forcibly removed by plainclothes security personnel. The incident, which occurred at Coeur d'Alene High School, sparked widespread attention after videos of the altercation surfaced online.
Teresa Borrenpohl, a Democratic legislative candidate, was attending the town hall when she began heckling the speakers. Despite repeated warnings to stop interrupting, Borrenpohl continued to shout, prompting Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris to approach her. Norris, who was in plain clothes but wearing his badge, told Borrenpohl to leave or be escorted out.
When Borrenpohl refused to leave, three unidentified men approached and grabbed her. Witnesses reported that the men were not wearing uniforms and refused to identify themselves. One of the men bent Borrenpohl's wrist, and she bit one of them on the hand as they continued to remove her from the event.
The incident has sparked outrage and raised questions about the use of force by security personnel at public events. Borrenpohl has sustained bruises from the altercation and is seeking legal action. The Coeur d'Alene Police Department is investigating the incident and has requested the revocation of the security firm's business licenses.

I'm glad the security firm was able to remove her without any serious injuries. They handled the situation professionally.

I'm speechless. This is the kind of thing you expect to see in a dictatorship, not in the United States.

This incident is a reminder that we need to respect the rights of others, even when we disagree with them.

Shame on the Kootenai County Sheriff for allowing this to happen. He should be fired for his role in this attack.

This woman was exercising her right to protest and was assaulted for it. This is a clear violation of her civil rights.
