In a significant operation on February 20 in Hyderabad, police intercepted a car carrying 160 kg of ganja worth approximately Rs 48 lakh. This coordinated effort involved the Commissioner's Task Force, the South West Zone team, and the Kulsumpura Police, who seized the drugs during their crackdown on narcotics trafficking.
During the raid, three individuals were taken into custody. The arrested suspects include a seasoned drug trafficker with previous encounters with the law, a secondary dealer, and the driver responsible for transporting the contraband. The identified persons are Guguloth Heeru, a 48-year-old auto driver from Warangal district with a history of drug-related arrests, Puranam Raju, a 35-year-old driver from Warangal district, and Dudekula Makbul Sab, a 46-year-old agriculturist from Sangareddy district.
The police have registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have also called on the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to drug trafficking, urging parents to monitor their children's activities as a precaution against involvement in narcotics.

This is shocking! How can someone smuggle such a huge amount of ganja? There needs to be stricter punishment for drug traffickers.

We need to support our law enforcement agencies in their fight against drugs. They can't do it alone.

Another drug bust? It seems like the police are constantly catching these criminals, but it never ends. What can be done to stop this?
