Republican Lawmaker Anna Paulina Luna to Lead Task Force on Declassifying Federal Secrets

Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, has been tasked with leading a new task force to investigate "federal secrets" surrounding the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., as well as Jeffrey Epstein's alleged client list.

Luna, who was elected to the House in 2022, has repeatedly called for transparency in the federal government, particularly regarding conspiracy theories surrounding UFOs, the origins of COVID-19, and the September 11 attacks. These topics will be the focus of her newly formed task force.

"The federal government has been hiding information from Americans for decades," Luna said in a statement. "It is time to give Americans the answers they deserve."

Luna's background includes serving in the Air Force and Oregon Air National Guard, working as a cocktail waitress and swimsuit model, and becoming an Instagram influencer before entering politics. She has also been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and has sponsored resolutions to impeach several high-ranking officials.

Following Trump's executive order to release government files related to JFK's assassination, Luna criticized "corrupt bureaucrats" who have "hidden this information from the American people for far too long." She has vowed to use her position on the House Oversight Committee to uncover the truth about JFK's killing.

On Tuesday, Oversight Committee chair James Comer announced the formation of the "Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets" to comply with Trump's order. Luna expressed her hope to interview individuals involved in the initial investigations and revisit evidence that she believes has been manipulated to push specific narratives.

While the Warren Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in assassinating JFK, Luna believes there were two shooters. The FBI has recently discovered over 2,000 new records related to the assassination, which will be included in the declassification process.

The task force will also investigate Jeffrey Epstein's alleged client list, which includes hundreds of names, including President Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Trump has denied any knowledge of Epstein's abuse and has stated that he was not a fan of Epstein.

Luna's task force is expected to face significant challenges, as many of the individuals involved in these events are deceased or have refused to cooperate with previous investigations. However, Luna remains determined to uncover the truth and provide answers to the American people.
