A Contract Dispute Turns Deadly in Pune
In a shocking turn of events, a shooting incident in Pune, India, has been revealed to be a family dispute over a contract. The victim, Ajay Vikram Singh, was shot in broad daylight on January 20th inside the premises of Kailas Steel Company.
Initially believed to be an extortion attempt, a 20-day investigation by the Pimpri Chinchwad Police has uncovered a sinister plot orchestrated by the victim's own cousin, Anant Singh. The motive? A contract dispute worth 12 lakh.
Anant, along with his accomplice Rohit Pandey, meticulously planned the attack. They conducted reconnaissance of Ajay's daily routine, purchased motorbikes for observation, and even visited Ajay in the hospital after the shooting before going into hiding.
The investigation, led by the Anti-Gunda Squad, has resulted in the arrest of Anant from Madhya Pradesh and Rohit from Uttar Pradesh. The police are actively searching for the remaining three suspects involved in the crime.
This case, registered at the Mahalunge MIDC Police Station, serves as a chilling reminder of how family disputes can take a tragic turn. The Pimpri Chinchwad Police continue their investigation to bring all perpetrators to justice.
