Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace Makes Shocking Allegations Against Ex-Fiancé and Others
In a stunning speech to the House of Representatives, Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace accused her ex-fiancé and three other men of committing heinous sex crimes against numerous women, including herself.
Mace claimed to have discovered a digital cache of over 10,000 videos and photos depicting the abuse. "I accidentally uncovered some of the most heinous crimes against women imaginable," she stated. "We are talking about rape, nonconsensual photos, non-consensual videos of women and underage girls, and the premeditated, calculated exploitation of women and girls in my district."
Her ex-fiancé, Patrick Bryant, categorically denied the allegations, and Mace did not present any evidence. Members of Congress have legal immunity for statements made within the legislative sphere, potentially shielding Mace from lawsuits.
Mace's speech comes amidst a history of advocating for women's rights while supporting policies that restrict abortion and campaigning for Donald Trump, who was found liable for sexual abuse. She has also recently pushed for bans on transgender individuals using public bathrooms corresponding to their lived gender.
Mace claims to have discovered the evidence on her then-fiancé's phone in October 2023. She alleges finding a video of herself being filmed naked without her knowledge. "I was horrified. I was humiliated. I was violated," she stated.
Mace further claims the files included numerous non-consensual images and videos depicting sexual assault. She alleges that South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson failed to act on her accusations despite her providing him with the evidence.
Wilson's office denies these claims, stating they have not received any reports or requests for assistance from law enforcement or prosecution agencies regarding these matters. They also claim Mace has never approached the Attorney General directly with her concerns.
The allegations remain unproven, and the situation is currently under investigation.

Shocking! How can she make such serious accusations without proof? This is irresponsible and could ruin innocent lives.

This could have devastating consequences for the accused even if they are innocent. We need actual evidence before we start throwing around accusations.

Using your position in Congress to air personal grievances is despicable. She should focus on her job, not using the House floor for revenge.

This is an opportunity to have a larger conversation about sexual assault and how we can better support survivors.

Let's not forget her support for Trump, a man accused of sexual assault himself. This whole thing feels like a desperate attempt to stay relevant.

Her past support for anti-abortion and anti-trans policies makes her claims hypocritical. How can she be a champion for women's rights while promoting policies that harm them?

This is a reminder that abuse can happen to anyone, regardless of their political affiliation or position. We need to stand with all victims.

This is a clear example of how the political system can be used to weaponize personal issues. This is not how justice is served.
