BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal launched a scathing critique of Arvind Kejriwal, holding him responsible for the deteriorating condition of Delhi. He asserted that the residents of the capital had decisively punished Kejriwal for failing to address their needs and cautioned that Punjab might soon face a comparable reckoning if leaders do not adapt to public sentiment.
In his remarks, Khandelwal also touched on the tensions between the AAP and Congress, noting that their ongoing disputes had led to misleading perceptions among voters. He dismissed the notion of the INDI alliance as driven by greed and argued that it was time for a clear-eyed examination of the situation beyond accusations and political rhetoric.
The electoral outcomes further underscored the political shift in the national capital. The BJP secured a commanding win by capturing 48 out of the 70 assembly seats, marking a remarkable return to power in Delhi after 27 years, while the AAP saw its tally drop sharply from 62 seats in 2020 to just 22. Meanwhile, the Congress, which once ruled Delhi for 15 years, failed to secure a single seat.
Adding to the dramatic developments, BJP candidate Parvesh Verma made headlines by defeating former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi by a margin of over 4,000 votes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi later assured Delhi's citizens that the CAG report would be presented in the first session of the new assembly, reinforcing the BJP’s agenda as they prepare to govern the capital once again.

Instead of offering insights into the problems, it’s just a blame game that misleads the public.

This call for honesty and accountability is refreshing in an era of vague political promises.

The BJP’s recent win shows that people want leadership that delivers on its promises, not blind loyalty.
