Ukrainian Marines Eliminate Russian Shelter with Explosive "Gift" in Daring Assault

The 37th Marine Brigade of Ukraine executed a daring assault on Russian forces, captured in dramatic aerial footage. The operation involved an Oshkosh M-ATV armored vehicle, from which the marines suppressed enemy fire with a machine gun, forcing the Russians to retreat.

The Ukrainian troops then left an "explosive gift" for the retreating Russians, as described by the brigade. The footage shows the explosive detonating, sending plumes of smoke into the sky.

According to Ukrainian reports, the explosion completely destroyed an enemy shelter, killing all Russian personnel inside. This attack is part of Ukraine's ongoing efforts to defend against the Russian invasion, which began almost three years ago.

Ukraine claims to have destroyed more than 10,000 Russian tanks since the invasion began. However, the UK reported last year that Russia relies on outdated Soviet-era equipment and estimated that only around 3,600 main battle tanks had been destroyed.

Additionally, Ukraine's defense ministry claims that over 850,000 Russian troops have been killed or wounded, and 700 planes and helicopters have been destroyed.
