Recovery of All Victims in Alaska Regional Airline Crash

In a tragic development, all ten individuals onboard the Bering Air plane have been recovered following a severe crash near Nome, Alaska. According to a Facebook update by the Nome Volunteer Fire Department, recovery operations have been completed, with efforts from local search and rescue teams and the Air Force playing a significant role.

The U.S. Coast Guard announced that the aircraft was located approximately 34 miles southeast of Nome. Initially, only three bodies, discovered alongside the wreckage, were recovered, leaving seven individuals trapped inside due to the aircraft's condition. Bering Air Flight 445, a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, was on a regular commuter flight carrying nine passengers and a pilot from Unalakleet to Nome when it went missing just before 4 p.m. local time.
