UAE Condemns Netanyahu's Statements on Palestinian State in Saudi Arabia
The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned and denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statements regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The UAE considers these statements to be a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
Khalifa Bin Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, affirmed the UAE's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its unwavering position against all threats to the Kingdom's security, stability, and sovereignty. He emphasized that the UAE considers Saudi Arabia's sovereignty as an inviolable "red line" that no country should undermine or violate.
The UAE also categorically rejects any infringement on the Palestinians' unalienable rights and any attempts at displacement. It reaffirms the importance of halting any settlement activities that threaten regional stability and undermine the opportunities for peace and coexistence.
Furthermore, the UAE calls on the international community, the United Nations, and the UN Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities to end illegal practices in contravention of international law.
Shaheen reaffirmed the UAE's historic and steadfast position to safeguard the rights of Palestinians and underscored the importance of finding a serious political horizon to resolve the conflict and establish an independent Palestinian state. The UAE believes that regional stability can only be attained through the two-state solution.

This whole statement feels like a political maneuver to shut down any discussion, not a true commitment to justice.

The text oversimplifies a complex issue; addressing the root causes of the conflict requires more nuance than red lines.

This statement feels like an attempt to control the narrative rather than genuinely seeking peace and justice.

Overplaying the idea of a “red line” just complicates an already intricate regional issue without any real benefits.

Claiming that Netanyahu’s words are a "blatant violation of international law" feels exaggerated and one-sided.

This clear denunciation sets a precedent for holding leaders accountable to international law and human rights.
