Arab Parliament Leader Denounces Proposal for a Palestinian State in Saudi Arabia

In Cairo on February 9, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, voiced strong disapproval of recent remarks made by Israel proposing the creation of a Palestinian state within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He described the statements as irresponsible and warned that such proposals jeopardize regional stability, intensify conflicts, and pose a threat to global peace and security.

Al-Yamahi stressed that the Arab Parliament firmly rejects these comments, asserting that they infringe on the sovereignty, security, and stability of Saudi Arabia. He argued that the proposal represents a flagrant breach of international law and norms, and highlighted Saudi Arabia's role as integral to Arab national security.
