American Ashlyn Krueger advanced to the final of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open after a challenging semifinal against Czech opponent Linda Noskova. In that match, the 20-year-old managed to edge out Noskova by winning a tight first-set tiebreak 7-6 (2) and following up with a 6-4 win in the second set. Her resilient performance included saving four out of six break points and converting nearly 73 percent of her first-serve points.

This victory marks another milestone for Krueger as she looks to claim her second career WTA title, building on her previous success at the 2023 Japan Women’s Open, a WTA 250 event. The upcoming final, however, is positioned in the more prestigious WTA 500 category, and she will be pitted against Switzerland's Belinda Bencic.
