UK Braces for a Cold Snap with Snow, Sleet, and Chilly Winds

Recent weather maps indicate that a cold snap will affect much of the UK in the coming days, with snow showers expected over a large part of southwestern Britain on Friday night. The long range forecast indicates breezy winds, increased cloud cover, and overall below-average temperatures, with the possibility of overnight frost provided that skies remain clear, while breezy conditions might reduce the risk of severe frost forming.
