Former Tory MP Jack Lopresti Joins Ukrainian International Legion to Aid in War Efforts

Jack Lopresti, a former member of the UK Parliament from the Conservative Party, has decided to join the Ukrainian International Legion after losing his seat in the previous general election. Originally the MP for Filton and Bradley Stoke, Lopresti had been a strong proponent of increased support for Ukraine from the UK government during his time in office. His previous experience as a corporal in the UK Army Reserve has informed his current role, which is focused not on combat but on support operations within Ukraine.

After losing his parliamentary position in July, he traveled to Ukraine in November, intending to assist a charitable organization.
