Former Hostage Doron Steinbrecher to Address Rally

Doron Steinbrecher, a former hostage who was released two weeks ago, is set to deliver her first public statement via video message at a rally in Hostages Square tonight. The rally is being organized by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.

Members of Steinbrecher's family will also speak at the rally in person, alongside the family members of other hostages. The forum released a statement saying, "The entire country watched emotionally today as Ofer, Yarden, and Keith were reunited with their families. Along with this joy, we will not stop until we see all hostages return home — the living for rehabilitation and the deceased for proper burial."

Emotional Day in Israel

The release of the hostages has been met with mixed emotions in Israel. While there is joy for the families who have been reunited, there is also sorrow for those whose loved ones remain captive.

Keith Siegel, the first Israeli American to be released in this ceasefire, was held captive for over 480 days. His family has described his release as a day of "indescribable excitement." However, Siegel's wife and children remain missing, and their fate is unknown.

Yarden Bibas, another hostage who was released today, was taken captive along with his wife and two children. As he walks out to freedom, he knows that his family is still in danger, and the concerns for them are growing.
