Newly released court documents reveal a deeper connection between Prince Andrew and Yang Tengbo, an alleged Chinese spy. The documents, reported by The Sunday Times, claim that MI5 questioned Prince Andrew's senior aide about their relationship with Yang.

The documents also reveal that Yang was stopped at Heathrow Airport in November 2021 under counterterrorism laws. Alleged evidence against him was found on his mobile phone and laptop, including a crib sheet for a planned call between Yang and "TD" (believed to be Prince Andrew). This document reportedly states that China's ambassador to London, Zheng Zeguang, regarded the Prince as a "valuable communication channel."

Further evidence suggests a close relationship between Prince Andrew and Yang. A letter from Andrew's senior advisor to Yang, dated March 30, 2020, indicates almost daily contact between the two for over five months. Additionally, reports claim that Yang met with two Conservative prime ministers, David Cameron and Theresa May, and attended receptions at Downing Street.

Prince Andrew's office has denied any wrongdoing and stated that the Duke severed ties with Yang. However, recent emails suggest that Andrew may have maintained contact with another controversial figure, Jeffrey Epstein, longer than previously admitted.
