Trump Unlikely to Abandon Prince Harry's Visa Controversy, Expert Suggests

According to a royal commentator, there is a belief that Donald Trump, the former U.S. president, will not relent when it comes to the controversy surrounding Prince Harry's visa status. A ruling from last year prevented the public release of Prince Harry's visa application; however, the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation is advocating for the matter to be reviewed again. In his autobiography "Spare," Prince Harry discussed his past drug use, which raised questions about the validity of his U.S. entry in 2020.

Harry relocated to the U.S. with his wife, Meghan Markle, who is originally from California, and their son, Archie. The family has since welcomed their daughter, Lilibet. Bronte Coy, a royal reporter, expressed concerns about the ongoing scrutiny of Harry's immigration status during a segment on The Sun's Royal Exclusive. She mentioned that although President Trump has numerous pressing issues to address, the continued attention on this matter could be worrisome.

Furthermore, Coy noted that The Heritage Foundation, which is pushing for greater transparency regarding Harry's visa application, has urged Trump to take action. They argue that accountability is essential and that no individual should be above the law, which raises alarms about the sustained public focus on this situation. Before his re-election, Trump made comments indicating that Harry would not receive his support, suggesting that he would be left to face the consequences of his actions alone, especially after asserting that Prince Harry had betrayed the late Queen—a sentiment he deemed unforgivable.
